SORAH - SIKSIKA OFF-RESERVE AFFORDABLE HOUSING PROJECT

Making a Difference

The Siksika Off-Reserve Housing Project Ltd. (SORAH) is a non-profit organization created to help provide safe, clean and affordable housing for qualifying Siksika Nation members as they endeavor to have physical space to live in the City of Calgary, Alberta. The funds used to acquire the residential properties in our portfolio have come from the Government of Alberta and the Government of Canada.

TREATY 7 URBAN INDIAN HOUSING AUTHORITY

Making a Difference

Treaty 7 Urban Indian Housing is an Indigenous operated,  non-profit organization which provides subsidized rental units for low to moderate income native families seeking accommodations in the urban areas.

ABORIGINAL FRIENDSHIP - CENTRE OF CALGARY HOUSING SERVICES

Tackling the Issue

The AFCC housing team provides permanent, supportive housing for Aboriginal singles. To transition from Homelessness is not an easy process and Case Management Support is provided to participants.
